Thankful
I am sipping my first coffee from the cafetiere in almost a week of abstinence.
And I am smiling.
There are really so many things to thank God for. Although I think it is quite a messed up me, I can’t fail to give thanks for the abundant blessings I have got in my life. I may not be able to afford a £500 pound handbag, but I can always buy £5 ones and be happy with the purchases.
One thing I am very thankful for is the very fact that my education is paid for. I cannot imagine how else I could afford to be here in this place if it were not for the scholarship I am on. I am quite excited to go back home to serve my home country, despite the harships and challenges. I will make it a point to put on the eyeliners, alright!
I am thankful for the family I have.

We may not be the most good looking bunch of people. We may not be loaded. We have our flaws. We scream at each other and sometimes get upset over certain remarks, but at the end of the day, we are a family. We are complete in Christ. I love my family, despite how flawed we may be.
I am thankful for my wonderful friends who do not judge but give enormous support through and through. Noisette, Carrots, Ed, Trish and many more… I treasure the genuine friendship.
I am thankful for my health condition. I may be forever struggling with my weight problem, but above all, I thank God for what I have.. good systems. I may be chubby, fleshy and disproportionate, but I am unique in His eyes.
There is so much to be thankful for. Sometimes, I wonder how come all we know is to complain nonstop? Try looking at the more positive side of things. Life is too short to be angry or upset with.
That aside, I am quite excited to see the lighted up streets in central London.
