Of hope and love

I shall treasure my weekends from today onwards. This is why.

Anyway, I didn’t join the drinking session last night. Instead, I went to bed quite early (11pm) and slept til 9-ish am this morning! I found this quote from Matthew 4:26 which spoke to me in many ways.

26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Maybe it is because there were many conversations on money, branded goods and what-not recently. This verse reminds me that at the end of the day, if you have all the money, power or position to gain the world, what is the use if you lose your own soul?
