Where are the people?

I visited this church this morning. It has a very ancient look and touch.. very pretty inside. Amazingly beautiful in its own classic ways. However, it is very sad to note that the congregation only made up of elderly people. Where is everyone else? The church could seat a few hundred people, but there were probably only 20 people in the congregation. Revival has to happen here.. in this very land!
Having said that, I took the communion today. Nothing to do with rites, but I just want to be reminded of His grace and faithfulness.. that very gift of eternal life.
I talked to the church warden after the service when he asked which type of denomination I come from. I told him Methodist. But what is with me attending anglican churches?
1. Methodist comes from Anglican. The founder of Methodist, John Wesley was an Anglican. Or at least his mom was.
2. I attended an Anglican secondary school
3. Does it really matter which denomination you come from if you serve the same God?

Agree with your 3rd point. Jesus Christ is our main focus so, why have to divide so clearly among ourselves according to denominations?
