Of hope and love

Like now. It’s 1.27am according to my computer clock. It is officially 2009 at this part of the world.

Yippie!

And what makes it memorable is that *gasp*gasp* I got a wish come true. Nope, not the Qatar Open (even Pyroboy and gang have delivered the bad news). Not even the tennis at Savannah.

It is watchnight celebration in church lah!!

It was an amazing time of worship and just giving thanks to God who has given so much to me. I was there singing on top on my voice and out of tune (obviously, but who cares), while somewhere in my frontal cortex, I was just reminiscing the year 2008.

I started off as a Sem 3 student. In between, I turned Sem 4. Now, I am Sem 5. How ironic. One year, three semesters.. and I have restart all over again as a Sem 5 in September 2009.

I tracked back in time. How God has blessed Lynthia with a remarkable SPM result. The three scholarships she received. The current dentistry scholarship she is holding.

I thank God for the path he has granted me with. In October, I still thought I could never ever stepped on the British soil. By mid November, I got my letter saying I am being matched to the city which is going to host the 2012 Olympics. Simply amazing how He works His ways in the right time.

I am just thankful for my housemate Ed who never fails to surprise me – coming into my room just this afternoon asking if I want to go to the watchnight service. Thank you Anke for the car, I cannot imagine hailing down a cab at 1am in PJ town. Thank you JJ for coming along despite having fever the night before.
